FIT5145: Asignment 3 Rubric
Students that complete only part A (Al Questions), part B (Questions 1-4) and
part C (Question 1) can only get a maximum of Distinction. Students that
attempt part B (Question 5) and part C (Question 2) will be showing critical
analysis skils and a deeper understanding of the task at hand and can achieve the
highest grade.

General points:
• Late submision: Late submissions wil have a penalty of 5% per day,
including wekends and public holidays for up to 7 days. Assessment items
handed in after 7 days wil not be considered.
• Zip file submision: Zip file submission wil have a penalty of 10%.
• Drafts (not submitted): Please make sure to submit your assignments that
are in draft mode. We wil not acept the assignments that are not yet
submitted.
• Scren shots of codes: are not acceptable
• Other languages than English: is not acceptable
• Acknowledgement of sources: Plagiarism or unauthorised colaboration wil
result in an automatic fail

* Since one canot find the exact latitude longitude bounding box to include only al
European countries on the map, each student might end up with diferent latitude
and longitude bounding box and as a result a diferent POIeu.txt file. This is fine and
ful mark is given for this part as long as your selected bounding box shows almost
al European countries. Acceptable format means the POIeu.txt file contains almost
all European subset of the POI file.
* The answers for Question 2 are evaluated based on your own submited POIeu.txt
file.
