Assignment: Developing a Construction Quality Control (CQC) Plan
The Project: York Region Paramedic Response Station #32
Project Duration: April 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026
Assignment Requirements:
Part A - Development of Construction Quality Control Plan
1. Prepare a minimum of 25 Definable Features of Work (DFOW). You will have to break down the project into its various activities to establish Definable Features of Work (DFOW). This may require that you develop a work breakdown structure (WBS) to develop the work activities for all major divisions. You can use the subcontracting work packages developed in Group Project 1 for the definable features of work for your project.
2. Prepare relevant construction quality control procedures applicable to your project. Use the CQC Plan structure provided as your guide to develop these procedures.
3. Prepare various Construction Quality Control (CQC) forms to accompany the respective QC procedures. As a minimum, you will be required to prepare the QC forms as indicated in the CQC Plan structure provided. Use the typical forms included in the sample CQC Plan and customize them to your project. Forms and checklists are a critical component of any construction quality control plan. In the plan, you will include sample forms with the project-relevant information that will be used by QC personnel during the execution of the project. You are encouraged to use your creativity and imagination.

Part C - Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP)
1. Prepare an Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) using the template provided. An example is provided to assist you in completing this documentation. You must include a minimum of 10 inspection and testing requirements for the specified definable features of work for your project. The Specifications document identifies the quality requirements and standard tests required for products and works. The timing of the identified inspections/tests has to correspond to the master construction schedule developed above.
