AI USE AUTHORISED
In this assessment there are certain elements authorised for use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support achievement of the learning outcomes in accordance with the guidelines and the assessment instructions below.
Guidelines for authorised use of AI
You are recommended to use AI tools from the list below:
· ChatGPT (or similar text generators)
· DALL-E (or similar image generators)
You can use these AI tools in the following ways:
· Generate passages of text that must then be transformed to apply to the specific context of the assessment.
· Produce summaries of accounting concepts and topics as a basis for further non-AI-assisted enquiry.
· Generate counter arguments to refine and strengthen main arguments presented in the assessment.
· Develop definitions that serve as starting points for further discussion and evaluation.
· Create visuals to support video presentations, such as diagrams or concept illustrations.
Any use of AI tools must be appropriately acknowledged. If the AI tools you wish to use are not included on the list provided, you should discuss this with your lecturer first.

You CANNOT use AI tools to generate your whole assessment submission.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

· Engaging with AI tools without authorisation can result in a breach of academic integrity.
· Using AI in an unethical or irresponsible manner, such as copying or paraphrasing the output without citation or evidence; or using the output as your own work without verification or integration or using the output to misrepresent your knowledge or skills, is considered a form. of academic misconduct. Refer to the Academic Integrity Policy and Procedures for more details.
