Group Assignment
This course includes a group assignment worth 30% of the total assessment, focused on the practical application of course concepts. This assignment provides an opportunity for you to learn from one another and actively participate in each other’s learning. You will also develop skills valued by employers, such as problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership, critical thinking, and time management.
Working effectively in teams is crucial, and this course offers a chance to develop these skills through group work as part of the assessment tasks. The assignment will be evaluated based on technical accuracy, practical application, the quality of the written work, and the quality of both the written and oral presentations.
Groups are required to select their own topics and propose a useful linear regression model for a real-world problem using real-world data.
The group assignment is due on Saturday, October 25, 2025, by 11:59 PM. You must submit both an electronic copy via the course website and a hard copy (with a cover page and the GAI declaration form) to the course instructor. Your submission will only be considered complete when both formats are submitted. Failure to do so will result in a late submission penalty.
