Resit policy

If you fail this module and/or component, the University allows students to remedy failure (within certain limits). Decisions to authorise resits are made by Exam Boards. These will be issued at specific times of the year, depending on your programme of study. More information can be found from your programme office if you are concerned.

If this is already a resit attempt, this means you will not be eligible for an additional attempt. The University allows as standard a maximum of two attempts on any assessment (i.e. only one resit). Students can only have a third attempt under exceptional circumstances via a Mitigating Circumstances Panel decision.

Presentation brief

Your group is tasked with delivering a comprehensive and professional presentation that showcases your analysis and recommendations developed for case study company. In this task, your groups will be given scenario information and data related to this case study company. This presentation should demonstrate your team's ability to interpret complex digital business requirements, derive meaningful insights through data analysis, and justify the use of marketing technology in the business context.

Throughout the presentation, use clear, concise language and effectively communicate insights and make recommendations to a business audience. Aim to deliver a professional, insightful, and actionable presentation that demonstrates your team's thorough analysis, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills in completing a digital analytics project under digital marketing context.

Additional documents will be provided during the module

Time limit

Marking guidelines

See below

Peer adjustment process

This work is subject to peer adjustment, which is a mechanism for ensuring every student is allocated a unique mark in respect of their contribution to the outcome of the assessment. This means that you and your group members will be asked to rate each other’s individual contribution to the final submission, after the assessment has been completed.

The peer adjustment will be submitted via Moodle.

Following submission of your peer adjustment ratings, a standard formula is applied to calculate the final assessment mark. The adjustment will contribute a maximum of 20% towards that assessment component mark, and the adjustment cannot result in a fail mark. If a student does not engage at all within a group such that they contribute nothing towards a group assessment, this can lead to a mark of zero for this group assessment.

Students who fail to submit their peer assessment ‘scores’ by the deadline will have their marks deducted by 20% as a consequence

Academic guidance

You will have the opportunity to discuss aspects of your presentation, both in terms of content and style. in a seminar session before the presentation sessions. Comprehensive resources and guidance materials for this assignment are available on the module's Moodle site.
